Eating in Dulverton

You will never go hungry in Dulverton! The town offers a huge variety of places to eat within one to three minutes of your bedroom at Town Mills.

Some (but not all) of the restaurants in the town:

Woods Bar and Restaurant (http://www.woodsdulverton.co.uk/woods_dulverton/Woods_Home_Page.html) This outstanding restaurant has an excellent wine cellar and in fact won the award for the National Wine Bar of the Year 2014. The highest quality ingredients come either from the owner’s own farm or are sourced locally and we have spent many a happy hour enjoying both the food and the lively atmosphere.

Tongdam (http://www.tongdamthai.co.uk/) is an authentic Thai restaurant with an extensive, well thought out menu. In the summer you can also eat outside.

The Bridge Inn (http://www.thebridgeinndulverton.com/) offers great beers, excellent food and friendly service. In the summer you can sit outside looking at the river and winter nights are kept snug with a roaring fire. Every second Sunday you can join in the hotly contested evening quiz but be warned that some of the locals are very knowledgeable!

Tea Shops

You have a choice of three teashops in the town, all offering morning coffee, lunches and tea.

Other

Emily at the Dulverton Delicatessen will put together a deli plate to your specification and excellent rolls and savouries can be found at Farthings Farm Shop. You will also find a good selection of savouries and cakes (including fabulous meringues!) at the bakery.

Fish and chips can be found in the centre of town and are always a good standby if you don’t feel like a more formal meal.
